There is no substitute for seeing locations and properties first hand, and mindful of this we have been inviting potential purchasers to our island for a number of years.

Over this time we have honed the visits into a fine art, focusing very quickly on clients' specific requirements, giving them the opportunity to make serious, educated decisions in the time available.

By their nature these visits have to be short and a lot is packed into the schedules, based on information that clients have given us from their own preparation, in previous correspondence, including the confirmation that they are in a position to buy.

Lasting 3 / 4days and accommodated in four star hotels, a typical UK based itinerary is:

Depart from designated UK regional airport, fly to Cyprus.

On arrival at Paphos or Larnaca International airports, clients are met and transferred to the confirmed hotel.

The following morning depending on flight schedules, meet the Best of Cyprus Investment Associate and discuss requirements, status and viewings.

View sites and relevant properties for two days focusing all the time on the need to make decisions, since properties do not stay on the market long.

A deposit of 3,000Euros will hold a property in the clients' name until contract signature. Thereafter 30%must be paid within 30 days to lodge the property in the name of the new Owner with the Land Registry.
For off plan properties, stage payments are agreed to suit clients' financial timetables.

On reaching a decision to buy, clients will be introduced by Best of Cyprus to independent solicitors who will have Power of Attorney on their behalf to deal with Utility providers and Developers in their absence.

Additionally, introductions will be made to the major Banks to open both sterling and Euro bank accounts.

The Best of Cyprus Investment Associate will host clients throughout their stay.

The cost of this facility, which is heavily subsidised by Best of Cyprus, is 120 pounds sterling per person. Costs from countries other than UK are quoted on a case by case basis.

These visits are quite intense and leave no time for relaxation, but for people with little time to spare who are ready to buy, they are economical, get the job done and are an ideal way to conclude a property purchase on the island.
